Conspiracy

Conspiracy Theories are theories that attempt to explain an event or situation that is contrived and executed by a covertly operating source or covert group while the source or group keeps the plot/plan secret from general society.

Now, in our day and age, the terms "conspiracy" and "conspiracy theory" have gained a secular, "pop" sort of connotation which is very negative and derogatory. Today, many who mention these terms are ridiculed and believed to be a little off their rockers and that those who discuss conspiracy and theories are talking about fiction, stories embellished by the free and wild imaginations of the speakers. While this is the truth in some cases, it is best to adopt a more academic concept of "conspiracy" and "conspiracy theories" in order to sort out the wild discussions from the valid, necessary topics.

There have definitely been legitimate concerns in the past - as there are now - for bringing conspiracy theories to light. There have, indeed, been government covert conspiracies that have not been to the benefit of a general public. There have, indeed, been conspiracy plans talked about then executed in big business arenas, by large corporations, etc., that also have not been of benefit to the general public. There are many plots that have been uncovered involving groups of  conspiring, plotting, planning people whose plans have damaged people, society, have even killed people.

Personally, from all I've read and discussed with other Conspiracy Theory enthusiasts, researchers, etc., I believe part of the reason that a general public often reacts with negativity, ridiculing those who talk of conspiracy, is because if theories turn out to be correct explanations, then TRUTH will necessarily change society! That's a HUGE concept right there.

If it is true that our governments are as corrupt as we often think they are, then this provides an uncomfortable, vast range of responses and questions. These are questions we each have to consider internally, personally - and emerge from as CHANGED individuals. As our knowledge increases and we change our perceptions of the world and reality, how many of us will continue on to actually change our actions and the way we navigate in our world? This last part is a portion of truth-seeking that nobody teaches or at least not enough people are teaching to the general public. As well, learning truths then taking action after amalgamating information and knowledge from various sources - this is all a process. A process that isn't often taught out in the open.

Laugh and sneer if you wish but I prefer to look closely at conspiracies and theories because I want to learn and go through the truth-seeking and action processes that are necessary to understand and navigate in the world in a better way than I currently do.

Here's Ben Goldacre debunking one of our foremost authorities on EVERYTHING - the discipline of "SCIENCE."

Technically, tons of people in scientific fields are conspirators - keeping proper information from the general public. Hiding real evidence and information in oppressive language, language and terminology that isn't accessible to the average person. There's a whole field of study on THAT, too - language used to oppress or keep secrets from getting out and being understood well by the general public.
